        Health and Wellness Resource Center and Alternative Health Module:
             Use this resource center to find magazines, journals, newspapers, directories
        and information on health related issues. Included are links to diet, cancer and
        health assessment sites and government databases.
            Health and Resource Center Academic:
            Use this database to find articles on health related issues.

            Business Resource Center & Business and Company ASAP:
            These databases provide company profiles, information & reports.                                                                                                                                            

            Newspaper Databases and Index
           Custom Newspapers:
            Use this database to search 150 newspapers, both national and international.
            New York State Newspapers:
            Use this database to search 10 major newspapers published in New York State, including
          the New York Times and New York Post.
            National Newspaper Index:
            Use this index for quick access (indexing) of America's top 5 newspapers: New York    000000Times, Wall Street Journal,  Christian Science Monitor, L.A. Times and  Washington 000000Post.

            Literature Database
            Twayne Authors Series:
            Resource for literature; literary criticisms, etc.

 

  •  GROLIER Online  Includes seven encyclopedia databases: Encyclopedia America, Grolier Multimedia Encyclopedia, The New Book of Knowledge, La Nueva Enciclopedia Cumbre, America the Beautiful, Lands and Peoples, and The New Book of Popular Science.

 

  • ProQuest Platinum
    Periodicals covering a broad range of material: business, education, general reference, health, language arts, sciences, social sciences, and many other curriculum-specific subject areas.

        

Provided by the New York State Library, NOVELNY connects New Yorkers to 21st century information. NOVELNY is supported with temporary federal Library Services and Technology Act funds from the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS). The New York Library Initiative is a proposal for permanent state funding for NOVELNY, a pilot project for the Statewide Internet Library.

 

 

 

Online Catalog (OPALS)
 The Library Media Center is now using OPALS for its online catalog system. OPALS allows remote access to the library collection. Search by key words, titles, authors and subjects.
